Overview:
AI Research Junior Engineer
Location: Silicon Valley (Onsite) | Type: Full-time | Visa Sponsorship: No
What you'll do
• Work with the data science team on ML modeling: signal extraction, classification, trend
prediction, or evaluation framework development.
• Build and evaluate models on large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Apply NLP methods to real-world corpora; document methodology and results clearly.
• Present findings to the team with data.
• Own a model or pipeline end-to-end, contribute to production, and operate with higher
independence.
What we require
• Enrolled in or recently completed a BS or MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied
Mathematics, or a quantitative field. Strong GPA required.
• Prior experience applying ML or NLP to real data - research, internship, or independent
project with verifiable output required.
• Proficiency in Python and standard data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorchor equivalent).
• Familiarity with text classification, embeddings, or semantic search is a strong plus.
• 1-2 years of post-degree or equivalent industry experience; demonstrated ability to ship.
• Authorized to work in the US without current or future employer sponsorship. No
OPT/CPT arrangements sponsored.
