To shape AI systems within the VHA, the full-time remote AI/ML Architect will work with program and project leaders to define architectural documents, draft reference architectures, and provide technical consultation for early-stage AI products. Key responsibilities Define and create architectural depictions and documents for AI systems across the VHA enterprise Draft reference architectures and recommend MLOps standards for VHA adoption Provide technical consultation to early-stage AI products from concept through deployment readiness Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years of software or systems architecture experience, preferably 10 years Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; MS preferred Experience with a variety of software programs and languages, with some programming experience Cloud architect certification (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States
