Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI models with a robust statistical foundation; ensure scalability and integration into existing systems.
• Develop and utilize metrics to evaluate performance; continuously monitor and refine models to maintain high performance and accuracy.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns; validate AI models against benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives; communicate findings to non‑technical members.

Skills Needed

• Machine Learning: Proficiency in ML algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar.
• Statistical Analysis: Strong background in statistics and probability; ability to apply statistical methods to real-world data.
• Programming: Expertise in Python and/or R; familiarity with SQL and other database technologies.
• Data Analysis: Skilled in data preprocessing, cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Insurance Domain Knowledge: Experience with insurance datasets including claims and underwriting data.
• Understanding of industry‑specific challenges and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications a plus).
• Experience: 7–9 years overall, including 3–5+ years in AI/ML development and deployment; prior experience in insurance industry is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving, excellent communication, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptability: Stay current with latest AI trends and technologies; apply to improve existing solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 – $220,000 annually.
