Harnham is partnering with a leading organisation to hire an AI Lead to drive the development of innovative AI-powered products and solutions.

• Role: AI Lead
• Location: Hybrid in NYC
• Rate: $110 - $130 per hour W2
• Length: 6 months
• Utilisation: 40 hours/week

The Role

You'll lead the design, development, and delivery of AI solutions, combining strategic oversight with hands-on technical execution. Working across product, design, and engineering teams, you'll turn AI concepts into working prototypes and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead AI strategy and technical direction.
• Design and build Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions.
• Develop AI agents, workflows, and orchestration frameworks.
• Build RAG solutions leveraging enterprise data sources.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies.
• Integrate AI solutions with APIs and business systems.
• Rapidly prototype and validate new concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business value.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building GenAI and LLM applications.
• Expertise in RAG architectures and AI orchestration.
• Strong software engineering and API integration skills.
• Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Azure AI and Azure OpenAI.
• Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience delivering innovation or greenfield AI initiatives.
