POSITION OVERVIEW

The AI - Integration Application Architect leads the architectural design and deployment strategies for embedding advanced artificial intelligence models into core enterprise applications. Reporting to Engineering Leadership, this role addresses critical system interoperability, scalabilty, and governance challenges by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and custom RAG pipelines. The architect ensures enterprise AI solutions operate efficiently within AWS environments while upholding strict performance, security, and compliance standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and execute integration architectures to seamlessly plug AI models, LLMs, and frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel) into core systems and microservices.

• Architect and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines leveraging vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) for scalable enterprise data retrieval.

• Develop, secure, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices to bridge AI services with broader enterprise technology stacks.

• Establish model risk management, data privacy protocols, and production monitoring frameworks across cloud platforms (AWS).

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to evaluate AI platform performance, operational costs, and compliance readiness.
