AI Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)
Day to Day
- Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to define AI-driven solutions
- Design and build AI workflows, agents, copilots, and automations using LLMs
- Integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems (ServiceNow, Salesforce, internal platforms) via APIs
- Rapid prototyping → productionizing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
- Lead architecture across prompt engineering, orchestration, and data integration
- Act as a bridge across business, product, data, and engineering stakeholders
- Own full lifecycle: concept → POC → production → optimization
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, risk, and governance standards
- Contribute to reusable AI frameworks and best practices
Must Haves
- 7+ years software engineering (production-grade systems)
- Strong experience with APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
- 2+ years hands-on building AI/ML applications (LLMs preferred)
- Python experience
- Experience designing end-to-end scalable solutions in enterprise environments
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $60 – $65 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
