The ideal candidate will focus on transforming Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Agentic AI solutions from proof-of-concept (POC) stages to secure, enterprise-level deployments leveraging Microsoft Azure AI technologies. This is an engineering-focused position for professionals who have experience building production-grade systems powered by large language models (LLMs), not just prototypes.
One of our clients in Washington, DC needs an AI Developer for a live position.Job Description:Design and implement LLM-powered applications utilizing Azure OpenAI.Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.Create agent-based and tool-using AI architectures.Engineer NLP pipelines for classification, summarization, and information extraction tasks.Build secure, containerized APIs using FastAPI and Docker.Deploy applications to Azure, including AKS or Azure Container Apps.Establish CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.Enhance latency, observability, and optimize token costs.Mentor fellow developers and contribute to architectural standards.Required Expertise and Experience:At least 8 years of software development experience.Minimum of 3 years building AI/ML systems.Experience developing and delivering modern web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React and server-side technologies like Node.js.Proficient in Python development.Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI.Experience constructing RAG architectures.Integration of vector databases such as Azure AI Search or FAISS.Deploying containerized applications on Azure platforms.Building production APIs, preferably using FastAPI.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Semantic Kernel or LangChain.Background in designing agent-based AI systems.Experience in federal or regulated environments.Familiarity with full-stack development patterns involving React (frontend) and Node.js (backend).Ability to provide code review or technical guidance on React/Node.js components as part of cross-functional projects.If you are interested in this position, please send a copy of your latest resume to with the information requested below:Availability to start a new job.Best RatesContact #Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
