To support the advancement of agrivoltaics in Bangladesh, the remote Agri-PV System Design Consultant will conduct system simulations, optimize clean energy generation, and develop crop growth models while collaborating with local stakeholders over a two-month consultancy period. Key responsibilities Assess the technical feasibility of integrating Agri-PV systems with existing solar irrigation infrastructure Optimize Agri-PV system designs through engineering simulations to maximize energy generation Evaluate crop performance by developing calibrated crop growth models based on agronomic data Required qualifications Minimum of five years of experience in solar PV system design, including elevated structures Proven expertise in Agri-PV design, including structural design and energy yield analysis Experience working in South Asia or similar agro-climatic contexts, preferably Bangladesh or India Strong technical skills in PV layout optimization and structural stability analysis Demonstrated experience in completing at least 4-5 similar assignments
