The IPM is Shared Services Program management function to help the business units and the Enterprise achieve the business strategy and goals. The IT Program Manager and IPM define OKR's (Objectives, Key Results) in support of Enterprise and Portfolio strategic initiativesResponsibilities Include (But Not Limited To):Manage Stakeholder RelationshipsManage Development Project & Sprint PlanManage Project ProgressManage Project AcceptanceManage Project TransitionsEvaluate & Improve Project PerformanceThe primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospectiveManage the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releasesCreate or analyze business requirements documents and project timelinesGuides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimatesDrive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional)Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performanceWork with the team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocksConduct Sprint retro analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivityLeads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the programProactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flowMaintain team data in project management software (i.e., JIRA, Manuscript, etc.) to support estimates and executionPresents high level project Dashboard for senior managementSupports product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scopeManage other special projects as assignedOther duties as neededKnowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of:Healthcare issues, information systems, management issues, and current trends.Conceptualizing business strategies while implementing information systems and technology strategic direction.Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environmentExpert coach on implementation of agile scrumDeep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmentStrong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practicesStrong understanding of SDLC and Agile procedures to predict the development teams needsSolid experience working with Architecture teams to assess and size story/epicsPassionate commitment to delivering products on timeComfortable with presenting project readouts to Executive level audienceDeep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planningAbility to understand and represent both the business and technologyExcellent communicator in person, over the phone and through email
