Summary of Position
The Aggregator Ads Specialist is a hands-on role responsible for actively managing third-party pay-per-lead, pay-per-call, and lead-generation platforms, including Angi, eLocal, Service Direct, Modernize, Thumbtack, and other approved aggregators. This role owns daily account management, approved budget allocation, and optimization by location, trade, service area, and capacity to generate qualified opportunities and measurable revenue for Cornerstone Advertising clients.
Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Specialist works with Marketing Managers, vendors, and client operations to translate dispatch capacity and business needs into timely changes in aggregator volume and spend. The role coordinates with PPC, Local Services Ads, and paid social as part of the broader bottom-of-funnel strategy. Success is measured by lead quality, cost per qualified opportunity, booking and completion performance, vendor credits, revenue, and return on advertising spend.
Our Core Values
At Cornerstone Advertising, our Core Values are more than just words; they are the foundation of our company culture and daily operations:
- Do what’s right for the customer, the Cornerstone team, and our partners
- Stay in the solution
- Sense of Urgency and Accomplishment
- CHOP: Collaborative, Helpful, Open, and Positive
- Don’t take yourself too seriously
Primary Responsibilities
- Aggregator Advertising & Budget Management: Plan, purchase, and optimize approved pay-per-lead, pay-per-call, and lead-generation programs. Manage budgets, pacing, service categories, geography, schedules, lead types, and available cost-per-lead/call controls based on client goals, seasonality, performance, and location/trade capacity. Recommend and implement approved spending changes to increase productive demand and reduce waste.
- Platform Account Management: Manage Angi, eLocal, Service Direct, Modernize, Thumbtack, and other assigned accounts across clients and locations. Coordinate setup and updates; maintain accurate services, service areas, tracking numbers, access permissions, billing, and campaign settings. Monitor account health and lead quality; document, dispute, and pursue eligible vendor credits and reconcile spend and lead delivery.
- Capacity & Bottom-of-Funnel Coordination: Work with Marketing Managers and client operations (GM/Ops/Dispatch) to understand available capacity by location and trade. Adjust aggregator volume to meet current demand needs and coordinate with PPC, Local Services Ads, and paid social channel owners so bottom-of-funnel media responds to the same capacity signal.
- Tracking, Reporting & Optimization: Coordinate with CRM, field-service, call-tracking, and reporting systems to connect source, spend, lead status, bookings, completed/sold jobs, credits, and available revenue data. Validate lead delivery and source tagging; resolve tracking gaps with technical partners. Report by vendor, location, and trade on lead quality, cost per opportunity, booking/completion performance, credits, and return on ad spend, then use findings to improve allocation.
- Client, Team & Vendor Coordination: Partner with Marketing Managers and client teams on goals, approved budgets, capacity, and performance reviews. Maintain vendor relationships, evaluate new lead sources, resolve account and service issues, and document onboarding and operating procedures. Escalate performance issues and recommend budget or vendor changes when quality, cost, or delivery falls short.
