Aftermarket Business ManagerTwin Disc is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Aftermarket Business Manager to lead the growth, profitability, and operational excellence of our aftermarket parts business. This role is responsible for the development and execution of strategic business plans, management of warehouse operations, and leadership of cross-functional initiatives to meet customer demand and financial goals.The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, optimize inventory and supply chain performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the Aftermarket Strategic Plan and Annual Business Plan aligned with the long-range plan (LRP)Analyze economic conditions, industry trends, and product lifecycle data to guide business decisionsTranslate strategic objectives into actionable production, procurement, and staffing plansManage the aftermarket business to achieve profitability and growth targetsDevelop and oversee sales forecasts, operating budgets, and capital plansEvaluate and adjust strategies in response to market and economic changesUnderstand and manage business decisions with a clear P&L impactCollaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing models, discount structures, and go-to-market strategiesManage multiple sales channels including distribution, OEM, subsidiaries, and end usersImplement programs such as competitive pricing, quantity discounts, and emergency order policiesLead the development of detailed aftermarket sales forecastsAlign demand plans with manufacturing capacity, procurement strategies, and workforce needsOversee the aftermarket warehouse and inventory control functionsEstablish stocking policies and material planning processesEnsure accurate inventory, efficient operations, and high service levels while optimizing working capitalDirect procurement and material planning activities to meet customer and production needsBalance material availability with inventory cost controlEnsure compliance with OSHA and environmental standardsLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and processesContribute to the development and improvement of material handling systemsDirectly manage a team of 2–10 employees and indirectly oversee up to 30 staff membersLead hiring, training, performance management, and employee developmentBuild a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork aligned with Twin Disc core valuesPartner with cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and financeParticipate in customer visits and business reviews as neededPresent business performance and strategic plans to leadershipQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or a related field requiredMBA preferred10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution environmentsPrior P&L responsibility strongly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesDeep understanding of: Forecasting and demand planningInventory management and supply chain operationsCosting and financial analysisExperience with ERP systems (JDE Oracle preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organizationStrong leadership and team-building capabilitiesHighly organized, self-motivated, and results-orientedAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with aftermarket business modelsKnowledge of Twin Disc products, markets, and customer base (or ability to learn quickly)Experience with pricing strategies and inventory optimizationWork EnvironmentManufacturing and warehouse settingFast-paced environment requiring multitasking and adaptabilityWhy Twin Disc?Flexible work schedule supporting work ? life balanceCompetitive base salary and annual incentive plansComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with exceptional employer matchGenerous paid time off with a holiday shutdownWellness Program participationEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) with robust resourcesOpportunity to work with a diverse, high ?
