Job Summary
We are looking for energetic Teaching Assistants to join our team! As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher with classroom duties and instruction. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. Responsibilities:
Assist with fun and enriching after-school activities
Support homework and encouraging learning in creative ways
Enforce classroom rules and procedures
Promote positive behavior and create a welcoming and inclusive environment
Collaborate with your lead teacher to help encourage learning with students
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience working with children and families
Creative, flexible, and able to adapt activities to meet student needs
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Energetic and positive attitude
Ability to pass a background check
