AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.
Position details
Site : AlphaBEST Education - Argyle, TX - Argyle ISD
Pay : Starting at $20.50 an hour, based on education
Hours : 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday (No weekends! Part-time)
Qualifications
- Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
- Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
