Educator For Elementary After-School Program And Summer Camp
Primrose School of West Carrollton is seeking an energetic, patient, and hands-on Educator to lead our Elementary After-School program and Summer Camp. Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the overall supervision and daily functions of your classroom, ensuring a fun and productive environment.
- Adhere to all Primrose West Carrollton policies and state regulatory agency requirements regarding the health, safety, and care of children.
- Maintain an inviting, organized, and "exploration-ready" classroom that encourages students to create and make decisions with confidence.
- Provide consistent verbal encouragement and clear behavioral expectations to help students grow socially and emotionally.
- Share responsibility for the upkeep and "housekeeping" of the classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
- Assist students on off-campus field trips, including support with small school bus transportation.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Must meet all local child care licensing requirements.
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood or elementary program is highly preferred.
- A solid understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of school-aged children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. to facilitate programs and ensure child safety during potential emergency situations.
