After School Program Director

Full or Part-Time

Job Summary

The After School Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the after-school program. This includes program development, safety and childcare regulations, relationship-based leadership, and collaboration with parents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, knowledge of child development, and experience in program management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with children, preferably in a school or community setting.
  • Understanding of child development principles and best practices in after-school programming.
  • Preferred: At minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, Social Work, Recreation Management, or related field.
  • First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
