We are seeking an outgoing and experienced After School Counselor to join our team! As a After School Counselor, your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our after-school students. You will be responsible to plan fun activities and games, provide help with homework and supervise outdoor play. The ideal candidate loves being around children of all ages!

Responsibilities:

Plan and facilitate fun and educational activities

Create daily and weekly lessons catered to assigned group, their ages, and interests

Monitor after-school students and accompany them to various activities

Provide fun learning opportunities

Set up, take down, and maintain after-school classroom equipment

Communicate with parents in a positive and professional manner

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older

High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to pass Background Screening and Employment Physical

Previous experience as an after-school counselor or in a similar position

Ability to plan and lead activities

Highly organized and responsible

Fluent in English

Fluent in both English and Spanish a plus

Excellent communication skills

First-aid and CPR-certified or willing to take course prior to employment

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including bending, lifting, and carrying equipment
