Description
We are seeking a dedicated After School Aide to provide leadership and support in developing and implementing a safe and age-appropriate after school program for school-age youth. This role will work under the close supervision of the Afterschool Program Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Create and cultivate meaningful connections with young individuals.
- Assist in carrying out age-appropriate activities as directed by the Program Coordinator, Club Teacher, and Mentor.
- Participate in yearly staff training sessions, staff gatherings, and other assignments.
- Support children in excelling within inclusive programs.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
- Attend and assist with Youth Program events.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- 6 months of experience in school age programs or comparable experience.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- This position requires up to date physical and immunization records.
- CPR and/or First Aid Certification, preferred.
Salary Description
$16.00 Hourly
