Aerospace Test Technician

As an Aerospace Test Technician, you will have the opportunity to assemble and test aerospace products and components in a hands-on manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards for quality, precision, and safety.
You’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an on-site work schedule (Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 4:30 PM; every other Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM).
This position follows a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday scheduled off. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble and test aerospace products and components according to written procedures and engineering documentation.
• Read and follow basic engineering prints, blueprints, and technical instructions.
• Perform detailed, repetitive hands-on work, including tasks requiring the use of a microscope.
• Safely work with paints, cleaners, and solvents.
• Handle and move products with or without product carts.
• Follow established safety, quality, and testing requirements.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mechanical knowledge or hands-on mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
• Ability to closely follow written procedures and basic engineering prints.
• Ability to safely work with various paints, cleaners, and solvents.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications
• Two years of aerospace industry experience.
• Experience assembling and testing aerospace components.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting aerospace blueprints.
• Experience performing detailed work under a microscope.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to move products with or without product carts.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting pay of $25.00 per hour.
