CNC Mill MachinistPressco Products is a manufacturing and machining company that produces quality machined parts, stamping, fabrication, and assembly of components for the aerospace & defense industries. With its rich 60-year history and new long-term contracts, Pressco is looking for a few key individuals who want to be a part of its continued growth and stability. This job will focus on set-ups and machining parts in the CNC Mill department.Job duties and essential functions:Set up and run 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC Mill machines, and Manual Mill machinesManage the production and operations of the machines you set-up to ensure consistent and quality parts.Machine and produce parts with efficiency, quality, and accuracyHelp the CNC lead ensure all machines are running and producing quality partsAssist in organizing and planning proper fixturing and tooling for the work orderPerform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools, answer questions and suggest improvementsMaintain great communication with programming, tooling, production scheduler, and department leadKeep a clean and safe work environmentUpdating Set-Up sheetsEssential qualifications:Basic CNC Programming (MasterCAM) knowledge is a plusMinimum 3 years of Machine Shop experience3+ years CNC Mill machining and set up experienceExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinkingGood work ethic and positive attitude, team player, leads by exampleExcellent attendance and time managementStanding and sitting for extended periods of time in a warehouse environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening.
Must be fluent in English.US CitizenHigh School Diploma or GEDCompensation is dependent on experience and is evaluated regularly based on merit and performance. Wage range $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.
