We offer competitive compensation in addition to an attractive benefits package for qualified employees.Job Title: CNC Machinist (Mid-Level & Experienced)Employee Type: Full Time, HourlyShifts Available:Mon-Thurs; 5am-5:30pm (1st)Mon-Thurs; 5pm - 5:30am (2nd)Weekend: Fri-Sun; 5am-5:30pmPay Rates: $22.00 - $28.00/hr - Dependent Upon ExperienceShift Differential: (shift differential for 2nd shift & weekend schedules)Reports to: Machining ManagerJob Location: Wichita, KS, USAExperience: +3 years operating 5 axis CNC MachinesJob Duties:Machining large parts to customer specifications.Use precision instruments such as micrometers.Setup, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operationsAlign and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machinesObserve and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairsSet controls to regulate machining or enter commands to retrieve & input computerized machine control mediaRequirements:3+ years experience operating Fanuc Control 3 & 5 axis CNC Machines, preferred3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferredGantry style machining experience, preferredExperience with Fanuc controls & vacuum fixtures/skins, REQUIREDQuickmill &/or Mag3 experience, preferredAbility to read, understand and follow step by step proceduresExperience using/reading mechanical measuring toolsFamiliar with 5S manufacturing proceduresDependable, team-oriented, and good communication skillsTrustworthy, honest and person of good characterFollow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredExcellent attendance and positive attitude is requiredReliable Transportation requiredMust be a US citizen or current green card holderWorking Conditions:Some overtime may be necessary with or without noticeThe essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, and to walk for extended periods of time; to push and/or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others in the office. Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve items. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment.

Writing to complete reports and service requests. Occasionally Lifting and carrying (with assistance) items weighing 75-150 lbs. Must be able to wear safety PPE equipment, as required.
