This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and assembling mechanical and electronic components, with a strong emphasis on soldering and interpreting technical documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a leading aerospace organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical and electronic systems and components.Perform precision soldering and assembly work on circuit boards and control panels.Utilize diagnostic tools and trade-specific equipment.Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.Support R&D efforts by reviewing new manuals and participating in training.Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in the shop.Mentor and assist in training new technicians.Conduct in-process and final inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.Required Skills & QualificationsProficient in soldering and electronic assembly.Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident.Skilled in using measuring instruments and standard hand tools.Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Basic understanding of motors, pneumatic valves, and lighting systems.Experience with circuit board repair and wiring.Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and comprehension).Preferred QualificationsExperience working under a microscope for detailed soldering tasks.Prior experience in the aerospace industry.IPC certification(s) is a plus, but not required.Experience in a light balancing room is a plus.Why Join Us?Free on-site parking and breakroom market with complimentary coffee.Carpool reimbursement: $75/month per person.Voluntary Saturday overtime available.Comprehensive benefits starting the 1st of the month, with multiple coverage options.401(k) plan with 6% safe harbor and 3% match.Work EnvironmentYou'll be working in a regulated aerospace production environment, focusing on cockpit-related circuit boards such as control and switch panels.
