Aerosol Jet Solutions ArchitectOptomec is seeking a customer-focused Aerosol Jet (AJ) Solutions Architect to support revenue growth and expand adoption of our advanced additive manufacturing technology. This role works closely with the Sales team and external partners to identify opportunities, develop application-driven solutions, and support the successful conversion of prospects into customers.The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with experience in customer engagement, applications engineering, or technical sales support. This is a collaborative role where success is measured by contribution to opportunity development, partner enablement, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth.Key Responsibilities:Partner closely with Sales and channel partners to identify, develop, and advance customer opportunitiesSupport the sales process by translating customer and partner requirements into technical solutionsEngage directly with customers and partners to understand applications, materials, and process needsDevelop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) projectsAssist in preparing Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and quotationsContribute to RFQ responses with technically sound and commercially aligned solutionsAct as a technical advisor to customers and partners throughout the evaluation and decision processSupport partner enablement through training, technical guidance, and joint customer engagementsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfactionProvide market, customer, and partner feedback to support product development and roadmap planningDevelop technical expertise in Aerosol Jet applications to support delivery of professional services and application development projectsProvide customer training and support on Aerosol Jet technology, materials, and processes as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in technical sales support, applications engineering, or customer-facing engineering rolesStrong ability to communicate technical concepts and customer valueExperience in electronics manufacturing, materials, or advanced manufacturing is preferredBackground or discipline in electronics is a strong plusExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel up to 20%Preferred Experience:Experience in additive manufacturing or printed electronicsBackground supporting RFQs, proposals, or customer evaluationsExperience working with channel partners or distributorsExperience delivering customer training or professional services engagements
