To support a growing advocacy initiative, the part-time Advocacy Consultant will develop and execute a comprehensive federal and state policy agenda, strengthen advocacy infrastructure, and provide strategic support leading up to the 2027 Advocacy Summit, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Conduct a landscape analysis of federal legislation and develop a comprehensive federal policy agenda aligned with WomenHeart's mission Support the development of a state advocacy strategy and mobilize WomenHeart's Champion network for state-level engagement Assess current advocacy infrastructure and recommend improvements, while providing ongoing strategic advisory support to WomenHeart leadership Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required Experience in advocacy or public policy at the federal and state levels Proven ability to cultivate relationships with policymakers Experience in developing advocacy tools and training materials Strong understanding of women's health issues, particularly cardiovascular health
