Advanced Practitioners - Urgent Care
Job Details:

• Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) opportunity serving Urgent Care communities throughout Fairfield County
• Evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries across the full patient lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Perform laceration repair, suturing, and staple removal
• Conduct incision and drainage procedures
• Provide splinting and casting services
• Manage wound care and IV therapy with medication administration
• Perform EKG interpretation and preliminary X-ray interpretation
• Conduct DOT, occupational, sports, and school physicals
• Work collaboratively with experienced physicians and APP colleagues in a fast-paced environment
• Full-Time position at 38 hours per week with flexible part-time option available at 24 hours per week
• Rotating schedule within clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; weekend rotations shared across provider team
• Providers may work across multiple Fairfield County locations including Trumbull, Fairfield, Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Shelton, Stratford, Monroe, and Wilton
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Connecticut APRN or PA license (or eligibility)
• FNP Board Certification or NCCPA Certification required
• Minimum of one year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience required
• Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred; Occupational Medicine experience and DOT certification a plus
• No call responsibilities
