Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APN) to join our Skilled Nursing team at Avir at Camp Wood. As an APN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct resident assessments, perform skin checks, and provide wound care as needed
- Order and interpret lab results, as well as manage medications and treatments
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APN) certification
- Minimum of (n/a) years of experience as an APN
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
