- Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions, including respiratory illness, minor injuries, and infections
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostics including X-rays, EKGs, and labs
- Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalates to ER when needed
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups
- Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line
- Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance
- Monitor clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction metrics and drive improvements
- Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current PA or NP license in applicable state
- National Board Certification
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred
- Experience coaching or mentoring providers strongly preferred
