Advanced Practice Practitioner

Purpose Statement/Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role prioritizes direct patient care while actively contributing to divisional quality improvement initiatives and the enhancement of clinical outcomes. Additionally, the APP supports orientation efforts and provides education to patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and engagement in care.

The department is responsible for direct patient care for new hire pre-employment physicals, annuals, first aid, etc.

Required

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Enhanced knowledge of patient care principles, and ability to manage specialty patient care and emergencies by prioritizing patient care acuity and tasks, collaborating with entire care team critically, comprehensively both verbally and in writing.

Preferred

Clinical experience in occupational medicine/employee health Workers' compensation experience

Education/Licensure/Certification

Required:

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
• PA - Physician Assistant State License or NP - Nurse Practitioner License
• DEA - Drug Enforcement Administration
• BLS - American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Certification Required (NP/PA)

• Family Nurse-Practitioner (NP)
• NCCPA (PA)

Schedule

Per diem, 2/10hr shifts, :30 every 2 weeks.
