Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)

- Setting: Medical Center
- Term: 6 months assignment with a potential for extension
- Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30AM-5PM
- Pay Rate: $125-$130/hr
A medical center in Tehachapi, CA is looking for Family Medicine Nurse Practitioners to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. Providers will be assisting with Health maintenance, physical diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic issues within a family medicine/primary care setting.

Qualifications of Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP):
- Current CA Nurse Practitioner License
- Board Certified
- BLS Certification
Duties/Responsibilities of Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP):
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient family medicine clinic.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct same-day and scheduled family medicine appointments.
- Assess and manage common illnesses such as colds, flu, minor injuries, UTI, STD, Rashes, Arthritis Flare, wound check, and women's health items.
- Order and administer diagnostic tests and document care administered.
- Set up and monitor equipment.
