Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) provides inpatient secure withdrawalmanagement, medical stabilization, and treatment services to adults with substance use disorderswithin the Lummi Secure Withdrawal Management and Stabilization (SWMS) program.The ARNP performs comprehensive medical assessments, withdrawal management, medicationmanagement, and coordination of care with nursing and behavioral health staff. The ARNPparticipates in daily clinical care of patients admitted to SWMS and contributes to program qualityimprovement, clinical protocol development, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe,effective patient care. The ARNP practices within Washington State scope of practice and SWMSclinical protocols under the clinical oversight of the Medical Director.The ARNP also participates in the SWMS rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours clinicaldecision-making and patient care needs.
