You will be responsible for material management and inventory accuracy while working safely. Pay rate: $18.50 / hour.Duties:Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies.Follow all equipment safety inspections and safe work procedures.Maintain 6S warehouse standards and support daily forklift and battery maintenance, including charging, watering, and inspections.Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.Use radio frequency (RF) equipment while maintaining professional communication and proper system usage.Load and unload trucks, trailers, hoppers, and dumpsters.Perform advanced material management functions to ensure timely movement of materials throughout the facility.Maintain accurate inventory through SAP transactions, inventory verification, and cycle count support.Investigate and resolve material discrepancies while supporting inventory accuracy initiatives.Coordinate material movements to support production schedules and minimize downtime.Assist with training and providing guidance to Material Handlers as needed.Read and interpret safety procedures, work instructions, and operating manuals.Complete routine reports and maintain accurate documentation.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.Utilize SAP Integrated Business software, Microsoft Office, and Outlook to support daily operations.Position requirements:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of material handling and forklift experience preferredExperience using SAP or other warehouse management systems preferredAble to lift up to 50 poundsBackground checkDrug testMust be at least 18 years oldWork location: Staff Management | SMX, Danville, IL 61834.
