Position Overview
Advanced Mammography Technologist in Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Breast Center at 12348 Old Tesson Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63128. Performs mammography imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment of patients. Requires operating mammography equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Communicates with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Responsibilities
Operate mammography and other imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images. Ensure patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols. Communicate findings and procedures clearly to patients and healthcare team.
Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with required clinical hours.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience or graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in a related field.
Licensure & Certification
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT® (M) certification.
