This role involves delivering timely, quality assessments and interventions to support individuals experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement crisis plans and conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including mental status exams.
- Deliver short-term crisis interventions aimed at symptom reduction, stabilization, and restoring previous functioning levels.
- Coordinate care with families, significant others, and community systems such as education and child welfare.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical services provided.
- Participate actively in fostering respectful and supportive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
Experience
Preferred candidates will have three to five years of experience working with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), serious mental illness (SMI), or seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) populations. Experience supervising clinicians pursuing licensure and working with diverse, high-risk populations is highly valued.
Licensure and Certifications
- Must hold a BSRB license at the master's level.
- Completion of all necessary trainings for specialized care delivery, including Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
- Substance Use Disorder licensure and clinical-level BSRB licensure are preferred.
