CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic (CTC) in San Antonio, TX, are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist to join their newly launched, employed CTC GI group. The role offers the chance to join a robust on-campus ecosystem at a Level III trauma center featuring 250 acute-care beds. Physicians will enjoy a ground-floor opportunity to shape a brand-new employed GI service line with strong built-in referral pipelines and state-of-the-art facilities.
Practice Info
- Level III trauma center featuring 250 acute-care beds and handling approximately 11,000 adult admissions annually
- Fully equipped with state-of-the-art GI labs featuring Olympus scopes, currently performing advanced procedures such as EUS, ERCP, and POEM
- Robust on-campus ecosystem with strong synergy alongside Interventional Radiology, Texas Oncology, and specialized surgical groups
- Dedicated APP support including one APP focused on the clinic and one supporting the hospitalist team and follow-ups, alongside specialized GI lab staff
- Level III Trauma center, 4 ORs, 1 general procedure room, 2 dedicated advanced GI endoscopy labs performing ~240 procedures a month, and a major $300 million hospital expansion
Responsibilities
- Inpatient GI coverage, consults, and advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, POEM) with future expansion into outpatient volume

Requirements
- Must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship training in Advanced Gastroenterology (EUS/ERCP capabilities)
