CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic (CTC) in San Antonio, TX, are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist to join their newly launched, employed CTC GI group. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a brand-new employed GI service line, transitioning from inpatient coverage to a multi-physician practice. The role involves providing inpatient GI coverage, consults, and advanced procedures, with future expansion into outpatient volume.

- Westover Hills is a Level III trauma center with 250 acute-care beds, handling approximately 11,000 adult admissions annually.
- Transitioning from outsourced coverage to an internal, dedicated employed model for GI services.
- Facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art GI labs featuring Olympus scopes.
- Robust on-campus ecosystem with strong synergy alongside Interventional Radiology, Texas Oncology, and specialized surgical groups.
- Dedicated APP support including one APP focused on the clinic and one supporting the hospitalist team and follow-ups, alongside specialized GI lab staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient GI coverage.
- Conduct GI consults.
- Perform advanced procedures such as EUS, ERCP, and POEM.
- Contribute to the future expansion into outpatient volume.

Requirements
- Must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Texas.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Fellowship training in Advanced Gastroenterology (EUS/ERCP capabilities).
