We are seeking an experienced Physician specializing in Advanced Gastroenterology for a 41-day assignment in Michigan, starting Oct 6, 2026. The schedule involves daily shifts with no night call, supplemented by weekend call. In this role, you will perform essential gastrointestinal procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, biopsies, and control of GI bleeding.
Practice Info
- Setting: Clinic and Call, Inpatient/Outpatient
- Patients per day: Approximately 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes per day
- Staffing Mix: 2 physicians, 2 APPs, with all services onsite at the hospital
- EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities
- Perform upper endoscopy (EGD)
- Conduct colonoscopy procedures
- Execute polypectomy
- Perform biopsies
- Manage and control GI bleeding

- Call Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm with no weekday night call; 24-hour weekend call from 7am-7am

- Board Certifications: Gastroenterology
- Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP)
