This role builds and integrates complex assemblies—including wiring, cable routing, soldering, and component installation—while following detailed work instructions, schematics, and build documentation.
The technician performs testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve assembly issues, supporting efficient production, consistent product performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassembliesPerform advanced wiring, cable routing, soldering, and component installationRead and interpret work instructions, assembly prints, and electrical schematicsOperate hand tools, power tools, and bench equipment to complete buildsPerform standard testing and troubleshooting on assemblies and subassembliesIdentify and resolve assembly issues, escalating complex problems as neededEnsure quality standards are met throughout all stages of the assembly processMaintain accurate build documentation and production recordsCollaborate with team members, leads, and engineering to support production goalsSupport process improvements and continuous improvement initiativesFollow 5S, safety, and visual management standardsPerform other duties as requiredAttendance is an essential job functionOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
