Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls professionally and with a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, positioning, and bathroom needs.
• Accurately document patient information including intake and output, vital signs, and weights.
• Provide clear and thorough patient education and communicate effectively with peers, nursing staff, physicians, and administration.
• Adapt positively to changes and follow through on any issues that may affect patient care using the appropriate channels.
• Collaborate well with team members and support group decisions.
• Ensure patient information is promptly and accurately relayed to charge nurses or registered nurses.
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment for both patients and staff.
• Organize and ensure availability of supplies and equipment needed for patient care.
• Properly use personal protective equipment and seek guidance from registered nurses when necessary.
• Demonstrate skilled communication that aligns words with actions and encourage accountability among colleagues.

Education: Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program is required.
Experience: Previous experience in a patient care setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
Requirements: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively, and a caring attitude toward patients.
