The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to join its Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Divisions, and another Psychiatrist for its CPEP Division. - Serves a multi-cultural population of adults, children, and families.
- Offers a full spectrum of services including Adult/Child Inpatient services with a Psychiatric ICU, Co-Occurring Disorders Unit, and Women's Forensic Unit.
- Includes a high volume CPEP, Mobile Crisis Team, Adult and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Programs, Ambulatory Adult and Child programs, Chemical Dependency, ECT and TMS, and Home Based Services.
- Collaborates with numerous schools in providing training programs in psychology, nursing, and medicine.
- Outpatient psychiatrists have the option to work 2 days a week remotely.
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care to include evaluation, medication management, and coordination of care within the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Compensation
- Compensation range from $261,000 to $281,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
Shift & Schedule
- Full time schedule made up of evenings, weekends, and overnights (flexible hours-8, 10, 12 or 16 hour shifts) for the CPEP Division.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree
- Board certified/eligible in Psychiatry
- Valid New York State License, DEA, and Medicaid number
- Strong interest in teaching is required
