Opportunity Details
- Attend to a direct patient panel of adult primary care patients.
- Attend to Resident‑led patient panels, providing teaching and clinical guidance to Residents.
- Ensure patient/provider continuity and access to timely and appropriate levels of care.
- Educate, mentor, and supervise Residents and Medical Students.
- Work collaboratively with mid‑level providers.
- Participate in system‑wide performance improvement and quality management projects, as needed.
Qualifications
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible for a NYS License
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse patient population required
- Previous experience working with an underserved patient population preferred
- Spanish or Cantonese language proficiency is a plus
- Must have experience teaching Residents and managing Resident‑led primary care patient panels
Wages and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $236,000* (board eligible); $241,000* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120** (board eligible) and $360,620** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution:
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
- Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top‑tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
