Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in affiliation with NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, is seeking a full-time board-certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our Adult Outpatient clinic and the innovative Bridge to Home (BTH) satellite program in Southeast Queens. In this role, you will provide psychiatric care and clinical oversight in a voluntary, home-like environment designed to support patients with serious mental illness transitioning from the hospital to permanent housing. Practice Info

• Located in Southeast Queens serving a culturally diverse community
• Operates within the Adult Outpatient clinic and the Bridge to Home (BTH) satellite program
• BTH is a voluntary program providing onsite mental health treatment, skill building, and temporary housing in a home-like environment
• Behavioral Health Program provides a full continuum of care including ambulatory mental health, partial hospital, addiction services, inpatient units, emergency programs, and mobile crisis units
• Department collaborates with numerous schools to provide training programs in medicine, nursing, psychology, and social work

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care and clinical oversight to social work and nursing staff at the BTH residence
• Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and psychopharmacology with a focus on recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care
• Lead the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centered care
• Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and clinical supervision
• Provide occasional after-hours or weekend consultations by phone to support onsite staff, if needed

Compensation

• Compensation range from $261,000 to $281,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
