Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join their established outpatient practice in Albuquerque, NM. Practice Info
- Established outpatient practice in Albuquerque, NM
- Part of the Presbyterian Behavioral Medicine Program, a full-service department
- Multidisciplinary outpatient clinic with psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, psychologists, therapists, psychiatric social workers, and registered nurses
- Outpatient therapy support, including a variety of treatment modalities
- Administrative and nursing support for outpatient clinical practice
- Patient population includes adults, children, and geriatric patients
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care
- Manage 12-15 patients per day after ramp up
- Participate in Emergency Department consultation service across the enterprise with a robust Psychiatric Emergency Service team
- Take call rotation one weekend every other month
- Take two nights' pager call per month
- Opportunity for extra call/call pay as elected
Compensation
- Salary Range: From $255,000 a year

Shift & Schedule

Requirements
- Must be BC/BE in Psychiatry
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
- Patient-focused, collaborative and team oriented
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
- J-1 visa sponsorship available
- Open to visa sponsorship
