The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with Queens Hospital Center, is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join its Adult Inpatient Division. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population in Queens. The position also includes a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System.
Practice Info
- Adult Inpatient services with 2 units and 53 beds
- Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychology, social workers, and internist staff
- Busy city community hospital with a medium volume CPEP
- Offers Mobile Crisis Team, Adult Partial Hospitalization Programs, Ambulatory Adult programs, Addiction Services, and ACT teams
- Psychiatry Department serves a multi-cultural population of adults, children, and families
- Opportunity to teach residents from the recently launched Residency Training Program (since July 2025) during their PGY 1 and 2 years on the inpatient service
Compensation
- Compensation range from $261,000 to $281,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
