Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, the largest and most complex hospitalist program in Sutter East Bay, is seeking dedicated physicians to join their mature division. In this role, clinicians will care for a diverse and medically complex patient population while partnering with a multidisciplinary team to drive quality, flow, and patient experience. This opportunity combines high-acuity inpatient medicine with strong operational infrastructure and exposure to teaching, quality improvement, and professional growth.
Practice Info
- Regional referral center for high-acuity medical, surgical, oncologic, and specialty care across multiple campuses
- Mature division with strong operational infrastructure and engaged physician leadership
- Multidisciplinary group including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistant, and certified nurse midwives
Responsibilities
- Care for the majority of hospitalized patients
- Co-manage complex surgical and subspecialty populations
- Partner closely with nursing, case management, specialists, and hospital leadership to drive quality, flow, and patient experience
- Participate in quality improvement, program development, and innovative inpatient programs
Compensation
- $180/Hr. - $190/Hr.

Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Possess an active and unrestricted California Medical License prior to employment
- DEA license, prior to employment
- IM/FM physicians considered
