What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in an Adult Day Center, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your work will help promote independence, inclusion, and a sense of community. Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

• Personal Care & ADL Support : Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, while preserving their independence and dignity.
• Companionship & Emotional Support : Provide meaningful companionship to reduce isolation, promote emotional well-being, and build trusting relationships.
• Community Outings & Integration : Support clients in participating in community activities, recreational outings, volunteering, and social engagement.
• Transportation Services : Ensure clients have safe, reliable transportation to community outing, volunteer work or social events. Transporting participants to and from their day programs or work opportunities daily.
• Adult Day Services : Participate in structured day programs that provide socialization, skill-building activities, and personal care in a supervised setting.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking compassionate, reliable individuals who are committed to making a difference. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role:

• Experience : At least 1 year of experience in a caregiving or support role.
• Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients.
• Language : Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to better serve our diverse community.
• Attitude : A positive, empathetic approach with a genuine desire to help others thrive.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, No Weekends, and No Major Holidays

Our schedule varies:

Transportation hours 7:00 am - 9:30 am

Day program hours 9:30 am- 2:00 pm

Transportation hours 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm.

The schedules are either Part Time or Full Time hours
