Adult Cardiac Anesthesiologist

An inpatient facility in Texas is seeking an Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology physician for a locum tenens opportunity starting November 1, 2026. The clinician will provide anesthesia coverage under a care team supervision model with CRNA support, handling a variety of cases and on-site solo cases. The schedule includes a mix of on-site, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call including weekends. Two cardiovascular full-time physician positions are available for qualified candidates.

Practice Info

• Level II trauma center functioning at Level I capacity and supports cardiac and related surgical services
• Care team model with CRNA support
• On-site expectations consisting of solo cases
• Cases include Level II Trauma, Level III NICU, Cardiac, ENT, GI, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonary, General Surgery, Urology, and Bariatrics

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia coverage under a care team supervision model at an inpatient and operating room facility
• Handle solo cases on-site

Requirements

• Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship required
• TEE certification required
• Board certification in anesthesiology is negotiable
• Prescriptive authority required
