Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS)Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing Services in day-to-dayadministrative functions
- Makewritten or oral reports to necessary personnel
- Monitorand maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility
- Participatein the developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff developmentclasses, training, and orientation
- Reviewand revise care plans and assessments
- Makerounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing servicepersonnel are performing their work duties
- Monitorabsenteeism to maintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel
- Maintaina liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc.
Assistant Director of Nursing Services Requirements
- Valid NYS RN license
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures,and regulations that pertain to long-term care
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Previousexperience in long-term care
- Previousexperience with Point Click Care
