Practice Info

  • Full-time, employed position within the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
  • Patient population spans ages 11-21, with services covering routine physicals, reproductive health, eating disorders, and behavioral health management.

Responsibilities

  • Care for an underserved adolescent population.
  • Teach, mentor, and shape the next generation of pediatricians.
  • Provide clinical care for 8 sessions per week, structured in 4-hour blocks.
  • Cover inpatient consult service 3 days per week, rotating every third week.
  • Participate in shared beeper call on an every-third-week rotation.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine required.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adolescent Medicine.
  • Academic experience in one or more of the following: medical student, resident, or fellow instruction; curriculum development; evaluation and skills assessment.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Michigan medical licensure.
  • J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available.
