AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Adolescent Medicine Physician to join their expanding team in Central Florida. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized children's hospital and a growing adolescent medicine program, including a new continuity clinic. The physician will provide comprehensive care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Practice Info

  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and subspecialists
  • Outpatient consultative care for adolescents and young adults with a wide range of medical and psychosocial concerns
  • Inpatient responsibilities focused exclusively on eating disorder consultations, supported by 24/7 pediatric hospitalist and psychiatry teams
  • Opportunity to develop specialty clinics based on interests (e.g., reproductive health, mental health, substance use)
  • Practice locations include AdventHealth for Children and our Fairbanks Avenue clinic in Winter Park

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient consultative care for adolescents and young adults with a wide range of medical and psychosocial concerns including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and sexual health
  • Perform inpatient eating disorder consultations
  • Develop specialty clinics based on interests (e.g., reproductive health, mental health, substance use)
  • Participate in teaching medical students and residents through AdventHealth's robust GME programs
  • Work closely with the Pediatric GME Faculty
  • Shared call coverage for clinic

Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Adolescent Medicine Fellowship (required)
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
  • Open to new residents or fellows
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with adolescents and their families
  • Interest in academic medicine, medical education, and program development (plus)
