The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center is seeking BC/BE Pediatric, Family Medicine, or Adolescent Medicine Physicians to provide primary care in one of their High School-Based Health Centers in Manhattan. This role involves working collaboratively with Medical and Deputy Medical Directors to ensure high-quality primary and reproductive healthcare delivery to young people, aligning with the center's mission and best practices in adolescent medicine. The Attending Physician will also be responsible for assessments, planning, teaching, and counseling.
Practice Info
- Provide primary care in one of the High School-Based Health Centers in Manhattan.
- Work in a busy interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Center.
- Serve as attending physician in the inpatient adolescent medicine consultation service at Kravis Children's Hospital of Mount Sinai Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Offer primary and specialty adolescent and young adult health care.
- Provide reproductive health services, including LARC.
- Deliver LGBTQ care, including gender-affirming therapy.
- Care for youth with HIV, eating disorders, and chronic disease.
- Precept adolescent medicine fellows, pediatric residents, and Icahn School of Medicine medical students.
- Participate in research, including an NIH-funded long-term study of HPV and quality assurance projects.
- Develop new programs and participate on medical school/hospital committees.
Compensation
- Compensation range from $143,000 to $302,000 (not including bonuses / Incentive compensation or benefits).
- The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
