Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Solution Architect

Adobe Experience Cloud: 5+ years

AJO/AEP: 3+ years hands-on experience

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Solution Architect to design and implement enterprise-scale customer engagement solutions using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end AJO/AEP architecture for customer engagement and personalization.
• Lead implementation of complex customer journeys across email, SMS, push, web, and other channels.
• Design AEP data models including XDM schemas, datasets, Real-Time Customer Profile, and identity resolution .
• Develop audience segmentation and real-time personalization solutions.
• Integrate AJO/AEP with CRM, Salesforce, data warehouses, APIs, and other enterprise applications.
• Define event-driven and batch data ingestion strategies.
• Design REST API integrations and custom actions.
• Ensure data governance, security, privacy, and consent requirements are followed.
• Create solution architecture documents, technical designs, and integration diagrams.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, marketing teams, developers, data engineers, and enterprise architects.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot implementation issues, and mentor development teams.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of Adobe Experience Cloud experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AJO and AEP architecture/implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of AJO, AEP, XDM, Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity Service, Segmentation, and Journey Orchestration .
• Strong experience with APIs, integrations, data architecture, and real-time event processing.
• Experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP, Analytics, Target, or Campaign is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred: Adobe certifications, Salesforce/CRM integration experience, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks experience.
